Hello and welcome to my profile, I'm Alandra from Ocean View Holiday Escapes :) Travel is my passion, and I'm always on the lookout for those hidden gems when visiting new places. This home in the gorgeous seaside town of Umdloti Beach, on KwaZulu-Natal's famous Dolphin Coast is one of them! Come and visit, I'd love to host your stay! Guests privacy is respected however, guests are encouraged to contact their host should the need arise. Please note that while your host is always happy to assist, they may not be readily available from 6pm to 9am. Please note: Guests are required to provide proof of identification, and pay a R3000.00 Refundable Deposit which should reflect in the bank prior to arrival.

Property information

The property has a gas braai, whistling kettle and UPS system to power the Wifi, TV and a light, and charge phones for shorter periods of power outages. The property's is situated near the top of its building. Unfortunately this means that there are approx 150 steps to reach the property if there's loadshedding, a power outage or any unforeseen issue with the complex's lift. The complex strictly adheres to set quiet hours. Guests breaching these times will be liable for a Body Corporate fine in excess of R2000. Guests should especially be aware of noise levels when sitting out on the balcony at night.

Situated in Umdloti, in the heart of KZN’s Dolphin Coast, this property is opposite a naturally protected Tidal Pool, a short walk from a swimming beach, shops, bars & restaurants. All basic amenities like a pharmacy, doctor and Spar are nearby. Umdloti’s tidal pool is naturally protected by rocks so it’s not affected by strong currents & large waves. Its ideal for little kids, elderly people and novice swimmers to enjoy the ocean and fun in the sun. Umdloti’s beaches are wonderful for long walks & the views are magnificent. This charming seaside town is located between Umhlanga and Ballito. Umdloti’s a coastal conservancy, with surrounding fields of sugar cane and indigenous forests. The area is a prime location for various wildlife sightings, including whales, dolphins and birds. With Umhlanga’s vibey attractions nearby, Gateway Shopping Centre an 8-minute drive away, 10kms to King Shaka International Airport and 15kms from Ballito up the North coast, this gem is conveniently situated for those in need of entertainment or a spot of retail therapy.
