Truly experience Franschhoek’s charm in our Loft Cottage right in the heart of Farm Lorraine. Surrounded by the romantic park and gardens of the estate, you’ll find yourself in the peace and quiet of a private estate, yet only a short walk from the lively town of Franschhoek. Spacious accommodation, luxurious amenities, and overwhelmingly beautiful scenery will make you fall in love with this magical place.


I am South African born and have lived in the Cape for over 30 years. I’m passionate about sharing this beautiful place Farm Lorraine is a self-catering accommodation. However, we are there for your every need - and leave you to yourself if you don't need us at all. If you have any questions, or need help or recommendations let us know, anytime.
Franschhoek is known as a "petite piece of France" (Franschhoek means “French corner” in Dutch) and it certainly is a special place in the Cape Winelands. With the highest density of Michelin stars in the country and an outstanding choice of wine estates and tasting rooms, you get to enjoy absolute top cuisine and South Africa's best wines right in front of your doorstep. If you would like to leave the car at home and book a driver for your adventures just let us know. We can organize an experienced guide and driver for you to take you to Franschhoek's special places.
