Jo and Stretch are very welcoming hosts that love entertaining and meeting people from around the world. The fact that people from across the world choose our establishment, feels like the world comes to us. For your peace of mind, both are fully vaccinated. We have worked with diverse people throughout our careers and have excellent interpersonal skills. Jo has a Communications/Media/PR background (25 years). Stretch worked in Human Resources for about 26 years. Our breakfast with an authentic Indian twist and frittata are well known. We love seeing guests leaving the table totally satisfied with their meals. We can also provide standard/traditional bacon and eggs. Authentic Indian Cuisine for dinner can be arranged ahead of time at an added cost. We have a well-equipped ski boat and offer fishing charters, or leisure trips, weather permitting, (Stretch's passion). Jo prides herself in her attention to detail. Dana Bay and the surrounding area have a wide variety of things to do. The pristine, unspoiled beaches are awesome for an early morning walk to take in a stunning sunrise. The area boasts an abundance of wildlife mainly consisting of bushbuck, birdlife, and Cape Fynbos. Other small animals such as tortoises, rabbits, and a variety of other birdlife are a familiar sight in the area. Pinnacle Point Casino is about 3km away and offers restaurants and a Casino. The caves in the area of Pinnacle Point relate to early mankind and have been declared a Heritage Site. The town of Mossel Bay offers restaurants with exceptional steaks, seafood, and views of the ocean. The swimming beach at Santos is a must with its warm sands and calm waters. Seal Island offers Shark Cage diving to see the Great White Shark. Scuba diving and snorkeling are also on offer. Hiking trails start at Mossel Bay Lighthouse and end in Vleesbaai with 22 km of unspoiled flora and sea views. The latest offering is the longest land-to-over-the-ocean Zip Line in the world, 1,1 km of pure adrenaline rush.
