Note: Both bedrooms share the only bathroom, which is en-suite to the master bedroom. It only has a bath, with an outdoor hot shower.

Klein Geluk is a typical Karoo house, built in 1877 with mud, a flat roof, a mixture of Yellowwood and Cape Oregon. It shows cracks, character, history, and patina of yesteryear. Neil Stemmet bought the property in 2015 and the newly planted garden is thriving in the fertile soil of the valley. Gum is the gardener. Elizabeth is the caretaker. The house is furnished beautifully. There is a master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and a second bedroom that shares the main and only bathroom. There is a long bath for soaking [no shower] and a fireplace in the lounge for the cold winter nights. We offer a NATURAL farm dam to take a dip to escape the summer heat. Next to the dam is an outside shower with hot and cold water.

Meals are affordable in Nieu Bethesda; you should indulge in the excellent food served in the village, from breakfasts, home-cooked meals, artisan beers, and cheeses. Do walk the streets at nighttime. It is so special to see the town in the light of the moon and the stars. Do sit outside around the campfire and watch the stars above you. Switch your phones off, reception is not very good in the valley and the 'no online' communication will help you to relax and unwind
