Laguna La Crete 44 in Uvongo is a three bedroom apartment on the South Coast and is suitable for self catering holiday accommodation. Immerse yourself in this lovely apartment where the breathtaking sea-views will captivate you and the laid back holiday vibe will soothe your soul. Uvongo is a bustling seaside town, known for its beautiful beach with a lagoon that stretches back to a waterfall. This popular complex has easy access to swimming, surfing, paddle boats, jogging, fishing on the pier or the rocks, and most of all relaxing on the beach in the sun.
Laguna La Crete, a well-maintained complex that has 24-hour security, remote gate, swimming pool, tennis court, clubhouse, communal braai facilities, laundry facilities as well as undercover parking. (Please remember to book the tennis court in advance).
Laguna La Crete 44, a 3 bedroom unit on the first floor on the front/side section of the complex and has excellent sea views and easy access to the beach. The lounge/dining room/kitchen is open plan and opens onto a balcony where there is a gas braai. The kitchen is well equipped for self-catering and also has a dishwasher. The unit has a DSTV premium package as well as WIFI.
The main bedroom has a queen-size bed and also a ceiling fan as well as an en-suite bathroom that has a bath. The second bedroom has a double bed (ceiling fan). The third bedroom has a bunk bed as well as an extra single bed. The second bedroom has a shower and also a bath.
No smoking is permitted in the unit. Please note that the cleaning fee charged is for the cleaning of the apartment before arrival and after departure. There is an addition cleaning service at a fee on request.
Neighbourhood information
Uvongo, a bustling seaside holiday town, is known for its beautiful beach with a lagoon that stretches back to a waterfall. The lagoon and beach are protected by cliffs and dense indigenous trees and foliage which must make Uvongo beach one of the most beautiful in the world. Paddle boats and also canoes are for hire on the lagoon. Curios are available to buy or admire from the local craft market on the beach. The beach is well sheltered and has lifeguards as well as shark nets. Therefore making it an excellent swimming and surfing beach.
The Pavilion Restaurant overlooking Uvongo Beach, apart from lovely views, also has great food. The setting overlooking the beach, the rocks, and out to sea is magnificent. Other attractions include numerous rock pools that stretch from Uvongo beach to Lucien beach and the fishing pier on the edge of the beach.
Manaba Beach is the seaside village on the Hibiscus Coast that overlaps Uvongo and Margate. It is a lovely beach for swimming, surfing, body boarding or simply building sandcastles, sunbathing and there are lifeguards as well as shark nets. A short walk down the beach will bring you to the Margate main beach.
Nearby Shelly Beach has two shopping malls, many restaurants, and movies. Shelly Beach also offers deep-sea fishing trips, dolphin and whale watching trips, scuba diving, and also shark cage diving.
Day trips are the order of the day with the Wild Coast Sun, Oribi Gorge, with its hair-raising swinging bridge within easy traveling distance. The crocodile farm and many renowned golf courses are also an easy trip away and the Mac Banana-filled pancakes are to die for!
