Landsrivier Cottage is a cozy self-catering unit on a farm in Uniondale, at the foot of the Kammanassie Mountains, with breathtaking views of the mountain and surrounding pastures. It is the ideal place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This unit is solar powered and sleeps 4 adults and 2 children. It has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and has an outdoor shower. The first bedroom has a double bed, while the second bedroom has 2 single beds. The shared bathroom has a bath, toilet and sink. The kitchen is equipped with a two-plate gas stove, fridge, cutlery and crockery. There is also a wood stove. The lounge area has 2 comfortable couches that sleep 2 children, and guests can enjoy meals at the dining table that seats 4. Outside, guests can relax around the boma. Secure parking is available on site. At Lands River, guests can explore various hiking trails on the farm, enjoy mountain biking in the valley, fishing in one of 3 ponds, or canoeing. The nearby town of Uniondale also offers a variety of restaurants and a few shops.

Farming activities in the area entails diverse type of farming such as pastures, lucerne, oats, wheat, stock farming such as sheep, cattle, ostriches, boer goats, horse farming etc. The Kammanassie Valley is also very well known for its fruit farming activiities, such as apples, apricots, nectarines, peaches, grapes, figs, pomegrantes and seed production.
