Lilys Cottage is a large charming cottage, overlooking the swimming pool & garden, totally separate from the main house. The cottage balcony which is the perfect place to unwind at the end of a busy day, looks out on to the pool and lush tranquil garden. As we live close to a river, we have a large number of garden birds, as well as monkeys who all feast on our large papaya trees and other indigenous trees. Our motto is “Live life beautifully" We have made our home a haven to recharge, and be ready to take on the world of tomorrow and love sharing this with our guests!
We have lived on the property since October 1974, love our ‘green valley'. We both have an excellent rapport with people from all walks of life. We enjoy the outdoors, are approachable, and try our utmost to accommodate our guests' requests where possible.
Queensburgh is a quiet suburb , with a number of shopping centres just around the corner (2km). We are centrally situated between Durban and Pinetown with ease of access to Durban's famous attractions, plus the N2 freeway leading to the Northern and Southern KZN Coast is approx 5 km from the cottage. There are a number of shopping centres and takeaways just around the corner (2km). We are centrally situated between Durban and Pinetown. Many of Durban's famous attractions are a mere 15-20 minutes away: Durban's golden beaches, Ushaka Marine World, Moses Mabhida Stadium, Growthpoint Kings Park, Sahara Stadium Kingsmead, Kings Park Swimming Pool, Athletics Stadium, Durban ICC, Exhibition Centre, Durban Country Club, Greyville Racecourse, Suncoast Casino, Wilson's Wharf.
