Meerkat has a private, fenced garden, beautiful views, privacy and barbeque /braai facilities. It is well appointed - Fine porcelain and percale linen. Free WiFi. The king size bed is super comfortable, there is a table/desk, a lovely couch and facilities to prepare a hot meal. For loadshedding there is ongoing WiFi, candles and a lantern, as well as a one plate gas stove and a flask. Meerkat is thoughtful about all your needs.
Johanna creates pottery and does some writing while her husband is a retired accountant who does the books and finances of the OWLHOUSE. We travelled quite a bit in Europe as well as in Africa. We enjoy meeting new people.
Meerkat is a brisk walk away from the Owlhouse and the centre of the village. It is in a beautiful part of the village with upmarket guesthouses around. The Brewery is just down the street. Restaurants are within walking distance. It has a pastoral atmosphere even though it is in the village.
