Very large unfenched property. Walking distance from the ocean and Harold Porter Botanical Garden. Kogelpark Nature Reserve just a short drive away as well as Stony Point Penguin Colony.
The host, Herman, is a very social and friendly human being. If you like to chat, he will be all ears. For the more private and quiet guest, he will follow your lead. Herman is a registered permit holder to grow and sell protea plants and thus have a small nursery at home.
Quiet neighbourhood. Lots to see and do within the area. Coffee shop and other restaurants very close by. Streams Cottage is in a Biosphere which makes Betty's Bay rather unique. The fynbos, penguins and baboons are special and worth to see. Hermanus, also a very popular town, is about an hour's drive away and they host the annual whale watching events. Great to see these animals up close! Plenty of wine tasting tours and other exciting things to do within not too far a drive.
