I was born in Sweden and came to SA with my parents as a child. We lived in JHB for 12 years and moved to Switzerland, when I was 19. I lived in many parts of Europe and worked in tourism returning to SA in 1984 continuing to work in hospitality.

The Retreat is in a beautiful valley at the end of a scenic road. Here you can experience total peace and tranquility. There are amazing walking-trails and beautiful gardens. You will meet fellow travelers at meals as we sit together at a long table.
Neighbourhood information
The Groenfontein Valley is a very beautiful, unspoilt and special place. There are interesting art + craft galleries and nice coffee shops and eating places. We also have very good wine-tasting facilities, in the valley and in Calitzdorp 20 kms away.
