Property info

Vindoux Tree Houses is a family run business which was started at the end of 2007. With a passion for Africa, the Ashurst family bought the farm and have created the perfect tree house romantic retreat along with self-catering cottages and a Day Spa. We are a working farm and aim is to extend vegetable growing in the future and to embrace permaculture principles, grey water systems and self-sustainability. Our Tree Houses have spa baths and private balconies which overlook the beautiful Tulbagh mountains. We offer lovely treats including picnics and romantic turndowns with local bubbly. We have packages which include luxurious treatments at our Day Spa. The Day Spa has a starlight Jacuzzi room and salt room in addition to the relaxing treatments on offer. Cycle hire is available on the farm, which was inspired by a visit to New Zealand where we visited wineries on bikes. We also offer Gin tasting and organic vegetable sales. Our room products, Fynbos Therapy, are manufactured on the farm.

Neighborhood info

Tulbagh is a historic town set in the Cape Winelands. Just 20 minutes from Ceres and 90 minutes' drive from Cape Town. It has the old-world charm with coffee shops and national monuments, wineries and restaurants. The local wineries are a must visit and be sure to do a tour/walk down Church Street. The Ceres Zipline is close by and there is also horse riding in the valley.
