The property boasts some of the most unique views in Wilderness: of the sea, river, vlei, and forests! The units are also far more spacious (and stylish!) than most places available in the area. Perched in the rural heights of Wilderness, forests and farmland surround the property and the units look out over the expansive Wilderness landscapes. It's close enough to the village centre (2,5km) for convenience, yet far enough out to invite the true peace that Wilderness has to offer. As the property is fully on solar power there is no load-shedding. Peaceful walks can be taken around the surrounding rural landscape, and the area is also a cycling favourite. Guests also have access to the dams on the property and a nature walk around the lower part of the property through natural veld.

Your hosts at Wilderland are Luami and Siggi. They have been living in this piece of paradise for almost 20 years, and love to be able to share this special place with guests.  Luami and Siggi are avid outdoors-people, and love walking their dogs (on the Wilderland property and local beaches), cycling, hiking, kitesurfing, paddling and flying! Luami and Siggi also enjoy socialising with friends and family in the Wilderness village and surrounds, and they are frequent patrons of the many great restaurants on offer in the area.

Wilderland is situated in an area called "Wilderness Heights" - the name comes from the fact that this part of town is situated on top of the forested hills that surround the Wilderness village. Wilderness Heights it characterised by a mix of semi-rural and natural land. Comprised entirely of small holdings (some small lifestyle farms) and natural or protected areas, Wilderness Heights is known for its peaceful unspoilt nature and small farms that provide a rural and natural atmosphere while still being conveniently close to the Wilderness Village (2.5km) and the large town of George (13km). The Wilderness Heights are also a mere 27km to the George Airport.
