Welcome to Woodcutters Guest House & Cottage. Woodcutters captures the history of our area and its friendly community. Woodcutters comprises of en-suite double rooms with private entrances, where you can experience total privacy, peace and the tranquility of our beautiful gardens, amazing bird life, mountain view, and views of Lush Forests and Indigenous Bush. There is a Home Distillery and Entertainment Area with Braai Facilities for guests to unwind, relax and enjoy the Mountain Vibe.Look forward to a warm welcome from the Hosts and their friendly dogs which form part of the Woodcutters Family.
The hosts of Woodcutters are great birders and lovers of outdoor adventure and nature. We are here to welcome our guests and make them feel totally at home.
We have an amazing bird life in our valley, so keen birders may even spot a "lifer" here. Guided Bird tours are available on request and by advance booking prior to arrival. Contact Woodcutters with regards to the guided bird tours for further info. Beautiful views of lakes, surrounded by Lush Pine Forests. Our property is where one can totally unwind, relax and feel refreshed when they leave. We are ideally situated close to all local Pubs, Restuarants and Shops in Haenertsburg, Wegraakbosch Organic Cheese Farm, and our local Zwakala Craft Beer Brewery. Woodcutters is right in the midst of adventurous cycling and walking trails. We are ideally situated within a short distance to all of our Mountain's many attractions. Woodcutters is a 1 hr 45 min drive to the Kruger National Parks' Phalaborwa Gate, and 2hr 15min to Orpen Gate, which makes us the most ideal stop over.
