The location of Amaru Inca is steps away from the Plaza, close to many shops and great restaurants. The staff is available 24/7, friendly and helpful. The courtyard with seating and tea is charming, and overall the views from most rooms and open areas truly transport guests into the location of Cusco. It was my second time staying here and I would absolutely recommend. Especially given the time needed to adjust to altitude, you'll feel taken care of and comfortable. There are lots of steps and stairs so perhaps not the most accessible.

Cosy rooms with free Wi-Fi can be enjoyed at Picol Hostal, awarded with the Gold's Q'ente 2015 for Touristic Quality Services.

They were incredibly helpful, always ready to arrange tours, book taxis, and answer any questions we had about exploring the city and surrounding areas even before our arrival. I can not say the same thing about our fancy hotel in Aquas Calientes. The rooms at El Triunfo are impeccably clean and comfortable, providing a cozy retreat after a day of sightseeing. One of the standout features is the stunning views from the rooms, where you can enjoy breathtaking vistas of Cusco's charming rooftops and historical sites. The location of the hostel is perfect – right in the heart of Cusco. It's within walking distance to the main attractions. Despite its modest rating, El Triunfo Hostel offers services and amenities that rival those of higher-rated hotels. The friendly and attentive staff, the spotless rooms, and the unbeatable location make it a top choice for anyone visiting Cusco. I can't recommend it enough and am puzzled as to why it only has two stars. It truly is a hidden gem!
