Otherwise, the location was perfect for us, and having a parking spot nearby really helped us when we were arriving late at night from the Summerside Festival in a nearby town. The apartment itself was large and comfortable, and it was great to have a balcony we could relax at the end of a long day.

Situated in the car-free Wengen in the Jungfrau Region, Hotel Berghaus enjoys a quiet location surrounded by the Bernese Alps. The Männlichen Cable Car and the village centre are only a short walk away. Very friendly staff. Beautiful location with breathtaking views of the nearby mountains. Good sized room, very clean. I'm happy I chose to stay in this small village, it's not nearly as full as Grindelwald for example.

I was there last few years ago and she still remember me. The area is so quite and the mountain view just made my day. Everything was 10 out of 10.

After accidentally leaving our camera behind, we faced the unfortunate reality that returning to retrieve it wasn’t an option. Yet, the staff and manager at Hotel Steinbock went above and beyond to ensure it was safely returned to us. Their kindness, honesty, and dedication were absolutely remarkable—and deeply appreciated. In a world where such genuine helpfulness is rare, their actions left a lasting impression on me. Whenever I return to Lauterbrunnen, there’s no question—I’ll be staying at Hotel Steinbock again and again.

The hosts are very friendly and the room is very clean and tidy. The public toilets and bathrooms are very clean. More importantly, they offer a rich variety of free breakfasts, including coffee, milk, fruits, yogurt, bread, jam, bacon, cured meat, boiled eggs, and everything is delicious. Every day after eating, we are very powerful. The transportation is very convenient, and the bus stop is right outside. Open the window of the room and you can see the beautiful scenery, which is truly unforgettable.
