I think this was because there were not that many people in the hotel. Breakfast had everything we needed so it does not devalue our opinion of the hotel. The hostess was nice and gracious. If you are near this hotel I recommend booking this one, it is so nice and quiet in the little village.

Sandra is an amazing host - going that extra mile to make your stay pleasant. We loved the place - it is furnished and decorated with love and such attention to detail. You do feel welcomed and taken care of. I wasn’t aware that there was additional charge for sauna - my bad, I probably missed it in the description. We loved the food - the portions were fair and with three course dinners we were hardly managing to eat if all. Sandra kindly offered a full story behind each dish (whether it was traditional Swiss, which region, if locally grown, home made)! Sandra also mentioned the Tchapinna ski area which I recommend if you need to take it easy or have any beginners in your group (CHF36 ski pass which is great for Switzerland. Only ski lifts which is tiring after a while. Still a great day skiing just 10 min from Gasthause Alpina). 40km of piste but not as diverse and large as Flims Laax Falera where we preferred to spend most of our days (CHF90 per day). A fantastic stay!

Hotel & SPA Croce Bianca ligt in Poschiavo, op 39 km van Golf Engadin St. We received a warm welcome on arrival by the owner with an immediate offer to take us to the train station complimentary. That was only the start of all the personal touches. Twin room had 3 beds in. We requested if they could cook us a omelette or fried eggs instead of the eggs they served for breakfast. It was no bother and done with a smile. Instead of just dropping us off at the railway station the manager carried our luggage and introduced us to the man behind ticket counter. All these small and so important things are not seen other. Well done from seasoned worldwide travellers.
