Beautiful little hamlet in the mountains. Food was absolutely spectacular, a real treat, both, dinner and breakfast. Local products are delightful! Hosts are very warm and kind people. Rooms are very simple and clean. Views from rooms are outstanding. Hike was excellent! We will certainly come back!

Typical Ticino-style Pensione Olanda is 1 km from the Madonna del Sasso pilgrimage church, and features garden and a terrace, furnished with deckchairs and offering panoramic views of Locarno and Lake... Having a shower stall and sink in the room was a bonus. Breakfast was included with the stay. The room had a veranda with a view of the lake.

This traditional farmhouse is located just a 5-minute walk from the Davosersee Lake and a 10-minute walk from the Davos-Dorf Train Station. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Friendly and peaceful place. If I come back I will definitely stay here.

Offering a small sauna and a sun terrace, Hotel Landgasthof Staila is located in Fuldera in the Müstair Valley. Fantastic service, and a spectacular view from the room.

Set at 2,225 metres above sea level, Berghaus Männlichen offers a sun terrace with great views of the Swiss Alps, a self-service restaurant, and a children’s playground. We loved loved loved our stay here!! Such a cozy cabin feel. Rooms were very clean. The staff was super nice and attentive. Very kid friendly place. The breakfast is delicious !! Best eggs I have ever eaten at any hotel and their cappuccino is outstanding ! The dining areas are very inviting and have a homey feel. And my kids really enjoyed the small selection of toys available in the breakfast room. The room cleaning service is superb ! I was truly impressed with how neat they left everything in our room. They go above and beyond what is to be reasonably expected! The staff also offered to help carry luggage up to our room which was very kind ! The playground outside of the hotel is amazing and nothing beats the views of the mountains and the personal experience you get with the highland cattle ! It was a visit I will never forget !

The Hotel Central La Fainera is located in the village of Valchava in the Müstair Valley Biosphere Reserve, 5 km from the UNESCO World Heritage Site Abbey of Saint John. The food at the restaurant was really good :) And the staff super friendly and helpful.

Enjoying an idyllic location between the mountains and the Sarnersee lake, the family-run Landgasthof Grossteil offers fine Swiss cuisine, free Wi-Fi and simply furnished rooms. The breakfast and meals were delicious. The view from the room was gorgeous and what you imagined it would look like when staying in Switzerland. The inn's owners and the staff were nice, friendly and helpful.

The family-friendly Gasthaus Alpina enjoys a quiet, secluded location in Tschappina amid the Grisons Alps. Sandra is an amazing host - going that extra mile to make your stay pleasant. We loved the place - it is furnished and decorated with love and such attention to detail. You do feel welcomed and taken care of. I wasn’t aware that there was additional charge for sauna - my bad, I probably missed it in the description. We loved the food - the portions were fair and with three course dinners we were hardly managing to eat if all. Sandra kindly offered a full story behind each dish (whether it was traditional Swiss, which region, if locally grown, home made)! Sandra also mentioned the Tchapinna ski area which I recommend if you need to take it easy or have any beginners in your group (CHF36 ski pass which is great for Switzerland. Only ski lifts which is tiring after a while. Still a great day skiing just 10 min from Gasthause Alpina). 40km of piste but not as diverse and large as Flims Laax Falera where we preferred to spend most of our days (CHF90 per day). A fantastic stay!
