The beds at Katenbach were actually the best of our entire stay. I missed those beds as we continued traveling. Very kind people. Very cute two story apartment.

It was a beautiful, new, well organised room with a great kitchenette. It was perfect. The owner was very welcoming and helpful. We didnt eat here but it is very popular so must be good. We appreciated our own space after 2 weeks travelling around Germany and eating out. The town is a short drive away.

I arrived after a four hour motorcycle ride in horrible heavy rain and the first thing the host did was to show me where to dry my soaking wet riding clothing. Such a generous and kind gesture was really appreciated. The evening meal and a few beers were perfect as was the hosts genuine care and interest in their guests. If all Gasthaus’s could be this good I could not ask for more.
