It’s truly a magical place — very cozy. Highly recommended!

There was a lovely atmosphere when we arrived - the room downstairs was being used by a ukulele group who were singing and playing. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had the disabled room downstairs which was lovely. We loved the colourful bedding! The location was good - we stayed there for one night to be near to Grenoble for catching the train the next morning.

We have stayed there before in 2012 when walking from Landry and we love that it breaks up the hike on the GR5. We rate properties according to suitability rather than gold star class and the Auberge de Valezan suits hikers perfectly.
