The Gasthof owners, Helga and Edi, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, we got a lot of practical advice about local transportation and skiing areas (nordic skiing in our case), making our holiday much more comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfast was versatile and of high quality, and dinner with delicious local portions was available for the customers. We really felt like being family members in this Gasthof.

Our host was always ready with relevant recommendations for hikes and sightseeing, and every morning a personalised sheet of recommendations was waiting for us at our breakfast table. His tips were spot on each time and we have had 5 wonderful days. We highly recommend Hotel Tauber and the host family.

Excellent shower pressure. Room was impeccably clean. The hostess was so gracious. We enjoyed our dinner there. Breakfast was amazing. Eggs cooked to order. Fresh bread and breakfast items. Homemade jams. Would highly recommend!

The rooms are spacious and very clean, with the added bonus of a sauna and Turkish bath, which we really enjoyed. The breakfast is rich and varied, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant stay in Cortina.

This is a superb little guest house, facilities were very clean and well spec'd - much better than we'd anticipated given the price in comparison to the local area, they had a garage I could use for our bikes and they had a self service system for cold beers (for which you need cash). Mountains nearby were good as well.
