Loved every bit of this stay, Yuki & Ken are wonderful and accommodating. Ken is a great cook I loved his meals. They have put attention to detail to every bit of their beautiful accommodation. The bath is amazing - like you have an Onsen. The shared lounge is stunning and cosy, the rooms are lovely and they are just great humans who are easy to connect with. Not to mention they live in an incredibly beautiful part of the world on the Nakasendo. Photos of the accommodation don’t do it justice.

The hotel located along the Oito Line that was accessible by car or taxi from Shinano-Matsukawa, Kita-Hosono or Hosono station. We had multiple email and message communications with the owners. Atsu responded to reassure that our commute concern would be solved. He would pick us up and drop off at Hosono station. The price of the hotel was very affordable and could walk to train station if having no luggage. Atsu was very accommodating to our trip plan change. He was thoughtful to drop us to the Shinano-Matsukawa station that the waiting area was warmer & was in town. Guest rooms were on the 2nd floor of a Curry Restaurant. Atsu helped carrying the suitcase up to the room & brought us furniture that we needed. He was also the chef of the restaurant. The food was yummy. We highly recommended this

Had a delightful 2-night stay at Koguma no ie during a Nozawa ski trip. The location could not be better. Strap on your skis at the front door and you're a 30-second cruise to the chairlift. It is a short and easy walk to the center of town. Our room was clean, comfortable and very quiet. The owners were incredibly kind and prepared a great breakfast every morning. The bath at the end of a cold day was a very special treat! Adorable spot at a great value. Will be back!

L'accueil a été l'un des meilleur vécu en un mois de balade au Japon. L'envie de notre hôte, une femme seule dévouée très active mais aussi disponible de partager sa culture et ses traditions s'est fait tout naturellement et sans insistance. Nous avons pu cuisiner en toute simplicité avec elle ! Ses plateaux repas sont tous excellents, fins et soignés. Les habitués le confirment. On s'est régalé soirs et matins ! Le cadre est parfaitement calme et reposant. Nous y reviendrons sans hésiter lors d'un prochain sejours.
