I have been travelling for 3 years and this place was exceptional and probably the nicest place I’ve stayed. The rooms and whole place is beautifully decorated and the hotel sits amongst a spa. They also have a restaurant attached. The place is family run and you could really tell how much thought and effort everyone put into making the place what it is! Everything is perfect. Although it is located a bit further out the city don’t let it put you off because you feel like you are in paradise inside. I got a massage done, which included a sit down with the doctor to tailor the massage to my health and wellbeing :) Staff are amazing and really kind too. A big thank you to all the staff for making it an amazing stay and especially to Fara for all your help :)

I booked a room based on guest ratings, and most of them mentioned that the rooms are comfortable and clean—it feels just like home. Facilities The facilities are basic but complete. They provide toothpaste in the room and a toothbrush (upon request). This is something I really appreciate because I am also a hotelier at a 3-star hotel, but the hotel I work at doesn’t provide these items. 😅 The best part is the free-flow hot drinks in the pantry, allowing my parents to enjoy a hot beverage anytime. The pantry area can also be used to sit and relax while enjoying some free time. They also provide a drinking water dispenser, which makes it convenient for me to prepare milk for my little one. Will I come again next time? Yes, definitely! If I visit Semporna again, Ozzy Lodge will be my first choice. The place is located slightly away from town, but it’s not an issue for me as I have my own vehicle. However, Ozzy Lodge has a strategic location with an ATM, a supermarket, and eateries nearby, making it very convenient for guests. Thank you, Ozzy Lodge! Ang Lee Holiday Stay ligt in Semporna en biedt comfortabele accommodatie met gratis WiFi in de kamers. Het ligt op slechts 2 minuten lopen van de moskee Semporna. De accommodatie ligt bij de bushalte, erg handig als je met het ov door Borneo reist. Wij sliepen aan de achterkant en hadden geen last van de bussen. Kamers zijn ruim en bedden zijn comfortabel. We mochten gratis gebruik maken van de wasmachine.

RTMS Guesthouse Semporna bevindt zich in Semporna, en biedt kamers met airconditioning en gratis WiFi. Er is gratis privéparkeren en de accommodatie heeft betaalde shuttleservice naar deze luchthaven.... We loved staying here. You need to rent a scooter or a bike to get to the city or around ‘cause no facilities nearby but otherwise it’s a very nice and peaceful place. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They also organise day trips or longer stays on the nearby islands.

MJ inn heeft accommodatie in Ranau. Tot de faciliteiten van deze accommodatie behoren roomservice, een 24-uursreceptie en gratis WiFiin de hele accommodatie. De herberg heeft familiekamers. Hotel heeft alles wat je nodig kan hebben, maar is erg simpel. Als dat is wat je zoekt dan is dit perfect. Kamers zijn schoon, airco werkt goed en er is warm water.

Dragon Pearl Beach Resort bevindt zich in Kota Belud, op 34 km van Tuaran River en beschikt over een privéstrand, een restaurant en uitzicht op de zee. We had an amazing time. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. It's older but very clean! We stayed in a hut right on the sand, and the sound of the ocean was awesome with the most beautiful sunset! It is well worth the money. The food was excellent and well priced. We did a jungle trekking to the lookout, which was beautiful. We took a boat ride to an island with some nice guests from Australia and Austria. They dropped us off, and we snorkeled and then picked us up. That was awesome! We had a rainy day, so we booked a tour for a boat ride to see the firefly and see proboscis monkey. They organized it and came with us on the tour. Besides being a little wet, the tour was fun! All the stuff we did was very inexpensive. We felt so safe and comfortable there. We are so happy we spent 3 nights and that was perfect! I highly recommend this place if you like the camping resort vibe!
