Alpen Hertz Romantic hotel was one of the best in our long history of skiing. The hotel is clean, looks new, the rooms are large and the hotel is close to the ski slopes. Excellent food. Dinner menu is wide: you can choose meat, fish or vegan dishes. The food is lovingly prepared, like in good restaurants. Plenty of vegetables. Large spa area at no extra cost. The swimming pool is open 24 hours a day. Plenty of different temperatures and types of sauna. Every evening there are sauna programmes organised by experienced masters. There is an outdoor pool. There is a large relaxation area. There is a separate area where you can get body and facial massages and other treatments for an extra charge. The hotel tries to organise additional entertainment for its guests, so that every evening is not a boring one. There is a bar area where you can sit with company during the day and in the evening, have a tasty drink or an extra snack. There is enough space for parking. A beautiful apartment with an indoor jacuzzi and sauna, featuring large windows overlooking the mountain views. Each room has its own TV, including the jacuzzi room, which allowed us to enjoy movies right from the hot tub. The apartment is fully equipped for a long stay, especially the kitchen, and was spotlessly clean! The beds were very comfortable. The location is excellent, right at the entrance to the Ötz valley and just a 10-minute walk from Lake Piburg. The hosts are lovely, live nearby, and were always available for anything we needed.

The hotel is beautiful and surrounded by nature and great for guests with dogs. Customer service was exceptional, I notified the hotel ahead of time I had a dog and when we got to the room there were dog treats, bowls and blankets which was an incredibly thoughtful.
