It is new and very modernhouse build at the edge of the village, nicely decorated in "scandinavian" design, the apartement itself is very well equipped with all you may need, including coffee maker etc. : There is loundry room available in the house as well as garage to store the bikes. Parking is spacious for all guest cars. The is 10min drive on bike to the village where several convenience stores / supermarket are located. The area around the house are fields of corn and wheat, it is very quiet with little trafic on the local road. Grazing sheeps and geese are around and the atmosphere is relaxing. All major cities in Belgium are in reasonable driving distance. I can recommend the stay in this house and would come again.

After after heading deep into the jungles of Southern Belgium, after one last turn, a high steel fence appears, shielding the camp from hungry Lions, deadly man eating Zebras, and ill- willing Local Natives. Inside the compound we find a fantastic well- equipped tent with double sleeping quarters, reliable wifi, kitchen and all facilities needed, and in front of the tent there is a common social area with an already heated hot tub. Amazing, I strongly recommend this place.

I loved literally everything of our staying. The place is amazing with a beautiful well cared garden outside where it is possible to relax and enjoy nature on very comfy deck chairs. Our room was spacious and perfectly clean, equipped with every comfort. The breakfast was beyond our expactations, rich and delicious, basically a full meal with cheese, mixed cold cuts, salmon, croissants, bread, fresh fruits, yogurt, jam, orange juice, eggs, fresh fruit smoothie and more. The place is around 500m far from the train station from which it's very easy and quick to reach Gent and Brugge. Cherry on top of the pie is the warm welcome recieived from Sam and his cat. He made us feel at home and regret staying only one night. Definitely the best Host we met in Belgium, he keeps building and enriching his little gem place with passion and dedication, giving to his guests a great experience. Very much recommended, we will come back for sure for a longer stay.

Just perfect! Stylish design hotel. It's in old building completely renovated. There's a lovely courtyard with a small lake, a small courtyard by the canal. The room is beautifully equipped (there is even a working biofireplace) with designer furniture and accessories. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Very cozy and makes you want to stay there again

If we could give 11 stars we would do that! We really liked how Caroline treated us. She made us feeling at home, as we arrived she showed us everything on the map with lots of good places to eat and visit. The room was the right size, lots of space and the bed was huge and extremely comfortable. We slept like babies! The bathroom was perfectly clean. The breakfast was just perfect! She makes everything you like, with fresh ingredients. The pancakes were extraordinary! We really appreciate the stay in b'guest b&b and we will for sure come back, can't wait!!

A demolished building at the entrance made us wonder if we were in the right place, but as soon as we were through the gates, we could see that we were somewhere exceptional. The building is elegant, the grounds superb, and the public spaces roomy with welcoming decor. It's more of a big B&B rather than a small hotel, but a very good one. I suspect that we had the smallest of the rooms, but we were comfortable enough for our 4 nights. Ter Wallen is an easy walk from the Markt square and the station, so it's a good spot for exploring this part of Belgium, and close enough to some of the historic battlefields for a day trip. Izigem itself is a nice small town, with plenty of spots to enjoy a beer or two. Ter Wallen's breakfast is on the expensive side; we only had breakfast on one morning but it was very good.
