We read a lot of bad reviews about noise in the hotel . I've been awake till 6 o'clock at morning and I can confirm that it was definitely quiet ! No any noise from the street or from the restaurant like the reviews says . Amazing hotel ! Easy check in! Comfortable bed ! Beautiful forest view! Lovely staff!

Everything about the hotel was simply fantastic. The spa and pool were amazing. And the best part was that the staff were all so friendly and helpful.

The rooms and overall design of this small 20-room hotel are simply outstanding. Every detail feels thought-through, perfectly executed, and the ambiance is both luxurious and warm. The staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming, making our stay feel truly special. And the breakfast? Easily one of the best we’ve had in a long time. Unfortunately, the highly anticipated 3-Michelin-star restaurant was a letdown. While the staff were lovely and the menu looked very promising, the execution didn’t quite match our expectations. Many dishes, although visually impressive and using modern techniques, lacked depth of flavor. As frequent visitors to Michelin-starred restaurants, this experience felt surprisingly average. It’s hard to say this because the team was clearly trying their best — but this is of course a subjective opinion.

With mountain views, CASA MENDILORE is located in Hondarribia and has a restaurant, a concierge service, bar, garden, outdoor fireplace and picnic area.

This is the best property in the whole area and one of the best places I’ve stayed in my life. The owners are lovely, the rooms are perfect, the renovated barn is interesting and the area is lovely with hiking and biking paths. Make sure to have dinner at the property- it was the best meal of our trip.

We had a wonderful experience at this accommodation. The owner was incredibly kind and attentive throughout my stay, ensuring that we felt welcomed and comfortable. The convenience of remote key access made check-in and check-out hassle-free, allowing me to come and go with ease. The property and its location were exceptional. Bedrooms and bathrooms had a high quality , luxurious feel. Kitchen is brand new with all the mod cons. Attached to the kitchen is a fabulous outdoor area overlooking the mountains.This was our favourite space, a gentle mountain breeze with a stunning view while eating. BBQ area was beside this space ,with wood provided by Elena. Elena was such a warm, kind and informative host. She was discreet, yet if needed I could send a text, everything you need in property host. In addition Its just 30 mins from a gorgeous beach in Hendaye or 25 mins from shops in Irun. We would love to return!
