We had side by side rooms to fit our family of 5. The rooms were well equipped with dishes. We also appreciated the extra seating so that we could all hang out in the larger room to watch a movie. The location was great. Easy walk to a Roman Fort, the lakefront, pubs, and also walkable into Ambleside. Our kids loved the hot tub. Staff were friendly.

Everything. What a fantastic place this is. So secluded and private yet still close to so many places. The room itself has everything you need, and is so quaint and quirky. The bed is fantastic, best night sleep we have had in years. Loved the log burner and the hot tub was such a great addition, easy to heat up and stayed super toasty for ages. The power shower in the bathroom was great and the bathroom itself is an ingenious way to use a small space. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming. This is an absolute gem of a place and I was so sad to leave this morning! We never stay at the same place twice but we've already said we want to come back here and we've only been home an hour!

In fact, everything was perfect, the location, the service, the suite itself: its layout, design, amenities etc… every single detail has been looked at to make the stay a very comfortable and luxurious stay… Even the welcome pack that they sent by email was so well prepared… It includes all the details and answers all the questions that you may have about the Suite, the village, the activities! Hats off!

We liked everything, but mostly the staff service. Each of the staff members seemed to make our stay comfortable and happy by anticipating our needs and solving any little problem we had. The morning breakfast was excellent. The Hotel is situated in a quiet but lovely center, and the entrance is easy (we had some thought when booking because the picture on the website showed many steps leading to the entrance, but when we arrived, we realized that the entrance is on the side and very convenient). Unfortunately, we didn't have time to spend in the spa but we checked it and it seems excellent.

The house was beautiful, loved the decor and had all the facilities you needed. The hot tub was lovely to use, especially after a long day of exploring. Kept updated by the host by messages and got all the instructions for the stay and top tips for the area. Would definitely stay again.
