Fantastic stay here, the perfect place to explore Orkney from. Dorothy was wonderful and ensured everything was well organised, clean and comfortable. The hot tub was fantastic after exploring outdoors on the colder, windier days. A short drive to Kirkwall township in a quiet setting. Highly recommended!

For us, this was just a great location to have as a base whilst we drove around the island. It had everything that we needed to cook our meals, a lovely warm bathroom and hot shower plus the comfortable separation of a seating area and bedroom area. We stayed in the butterfly Lodge and would definitely stay here again☺️

It was just amazing. The lodge itself, the interior, the hot tub and the view! Absolutely stunning.

Spacious, comfortable and light filled with good views. The shops were a mile away. You would need a car to get to the main tourist attractions. Parking was right by the house.
