Woodland Escape is an absolutely beautiful little getaway. As a family of 5, including 2 preteen/teenage boys, both 6ft+, there was plenty of room. Beds are very comfortable and the cabin includes everything you could need for a mini home from home feel. Although we didn't cook whilst there, all equipment and utensils are there for your use. The welcome basket was a lovely touch and the hot tub was amazing...on for our arrival and the perfect temperature! The site is beautiful, a real feeling of being away from the hustle and bustle of city life yet only a short drive to the nearest shops for any essentials. We sat listening to the sheep whilst enjoying a coffee in the morning, which was a real break from the norm for us. Toasting marshmallows over the fire pit then enjoying a hot chocolate and watching a film with popcorn was a true highlight that the kids loved. Although you can do all that at home, it's a simple novelty that they really enjoyed! There's a playground on site for the kids too. All in all, if you're looking for a break away from all the stresses of life and just want to "get away from it all" then I would highly recommend Woodland Escape.

Lovely place to stay, very relaxing and peaceful. Welcome gifts on arrival and information on where you can go and what you can do within the area was provided. Amazing for a weekend away, will definitely be coming back in the future.
