Our family loved our stay at Gara Rock - although the weather wasn't the greatest, there was still plenty to do at the hotel and its surrounds. The pool and spa area was a hit with the kids and the restaurant a favourite with the adults.

This beautiful property was very well equipped, spotlessly clean. gorgeous comfy beds and lovely scenic view from room. Breakfast was superb, cooked to order with a great choice. Amazing location as you're close to alot of tourist locations and shops but far enough away to switch off and have peace and tranquility listening to the birds and watching the sheep whilst reading a book and enjoying a drink of your choice. The hut itself is well laid out and maximizes the internal dimensions of said hut with a super comfy bed, great kitchen facilities and well laid out bathroom with a reasonably sized shower with great pressure and hot as you like water. The hot tub was an added bonus to relax after a long day of walking. We met one of the hosts on arrival and was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome and came across very approachable if we was to have any queries or questions during our stay (which we didn't). Whether you're looking for an isolated location away from typical coastal hotels/b&bs with great access to beaches/costal towns or somewhere to relax and switch off after long walks along the south west coastal paths or Dartmoor national park then this place is a must. My only regret is not asking one of the hosts if there was availability for 3rd night before leaving. Me, my wife & dog will definitely be returning.
