This place is absolutely amazing!! Loved everything about it. Had everything you needed. If you need space, this place has it in abundance and fantastic surroundings. Great communication from the owners. Honestly, we absolutely loved it and would return 100%

The set up of the site was amazing. It was very easy to warm the yurt up with the fire and the hot tub was lovely too.

This is an idyllic location for a stress free trip! The Shepherds hut was just perfect! The hot tub was a bonus and very much added to the weekend! I highly recommend a stay here!

We found our whole stay very pleasurable and the hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff were all extremely professional and friendly. Food was delicious and as a coeliac disease sufferer, I felt very comfortable knowing the staff were aware of my allergy from my booking information and mentioned it to me before I needed to say anything. There was also an excellent selection at breakfast for me and cross contamination had obviously been taken into consideration.

I loved the location and when u wake up and look outside was amazing. And they have the best Chinese in town.

This apartment is a credit to the owners, I couldn't have felt more welcomed, absolutely spotless, and the biscuits abd croissants were much appreciated 😀

From the moment you arrive, you feel immersed in the tranquility and beauty of nature, and everything about the experience is designed to be easy and stress-free, letting you completely unwind and enjoy your time. The cabins are amazing—beautifully designed, cozy, and equipped with everything you could need for a relaxing break. I especially loved the jacuzzi, which turned every evening into a luxurious retreat under the stars. The grill setup was also perfect for outdoor dining, making meals feel even more special in such a serene setting. A highlight of the trip was definitely the activities! I had a fantastic time trying archery and canoeing. Both were so much fun and well-organized, with friendly guides ensuring everyone had a great experience, whether you were a beginner or more experienced. It’s such a unique way to make the most of being in the forest and added an exciting element to the overall stay. A special shoutout goes to the staff, who truly go above and beyond to make your stay exceptional. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, and a heartfelt thank you to Daniela, who made my visit even more memorable. Her kindness, warmth, and attention to detail made the experience feel truly personalized. She is a credit to the Forest Holidays team, and her exceptional care made me feel instantly at home. Whether it’s the beautiful surroundings, the fantastic cabins, or the outstanding service, Forest Holidays Thorpe Forest is a place that leaves you feeling relaxed, refreshed, and connected with nature. I’ve already decided to come back, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect escape! Five stars all the way!
