I loved the location in the peaceful countryside. I liked simplicity and spacious facilities. Farm animals and family business with some long family history adds to the atmosphere of the place. They serve good ice cream too.

The cottage is an absolute gem nestled in stunning natural surroundings. It's a perfect retreat for those seeking tranquility and solitude. We absolutely loved our stay. The hot tub was a delightful touch, and the cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Its location is particularly special, as most of the major Golden Circle attractions are within an hour's drive.

Everything went absolutely well. Small but very comfortable room, quiet place, homelike environment. Very good sleep here. Magnus, the owner is very friendly and flexibly manages your needs. Breakfast also like at home. Evening hot tub was just a cherry on a cake.

The communication from booking and right through our stay was brilliant from Dmitrii and Ögmundur. The cabin itself is gorgeous and the location is perfect. It’s located next to a restaurant but yet still isolated enough to enjoy your own company. The hot tub while surround by snow is surreal. I cannot fault this property one bit. We will be back and have been sharing the property details with our friends and families since we returned home.

Amazing accommodation that has everything you need in a neat and compact space. Love the hot tub that the hosts kindly switched on before our arrival. Enjoyed the sauna too.

It’s super cozy. You have all the amenities you will need. Enough warming equipment to keep the place warm. Kitchen amenities with dishwasher and microwave are so convenient. Hot tub was amazing! The bbq grill is a plus but mot able to use it due to weather. The property management were very responsive and supportive throughout our stay. Love that it’s isolated but few minutes drive to Selfoss. In spite of the stormy weather during our stay, we were given a window time to see the most beautiful Aurora Borealis display we have seen so far in Iceland. We also got a special Christmas present from the property… a big chocolate Christmas tree with treats inside (see photo)!!! Thank you so much!

Beautiful house tucked away (we chose it as it was in a dark spot and we hoped to see the Northern Lights) but not far to nearest shops. Clean, tidy and felt homely. Comfy beds and sofa beds, good showers. Enjoyed the hot tub. We brought our own breakfast as we knew the house was isolated. We did use tea bags provided. Spent the next morning at the Secret Lagoon which is about 4 minutes away - highly recommended.
