Sarteano is a perfect base to explore Tuscany, the historic centre is picture perfect with several good local restaurants within walking distance. The palazzo is beautiful. We stayed here as a family of 4 in the green room. Everything was perfect, comfortable beds, good strong shower, clean. Breakfast was a real treat, with homemade croissants, cakes, biscuits, jam, eggs etc. Chiara, the owner is warm and friendly. We would love to visit again.

Absolutely stunning property on the border of Umbria and Tuscany. Our room was a perfect mix of historic and modern and was the perfect place to spend a few nights. The staff were also impeccable - from reception, spa and the restaurant. We loved eating breakfast and dinner at the restaurant and was given complimentary use of the wellness space. Raffaele, Tiziana, and all the staff were so welcoming and made us feel at home. The property is stunning and the attention to detail is immaculate. We planned on staying one day only but kept extending and checked out 4 days later. To our benefit they had a last minute cancellation so we were grateful they could accomodate us. Raffaele also booked us at some of the most delicious restaurants, wine tastings and pretty much anything else we needed they were on top of it Truly exceptional people and customer service.
