From the entrace staff to the reception everyone so welcoming and friendly. Great location close to markets and shopping. Very good breakfast on 20th floor. Room spacious and very neat. And the cocktails on the ground floor, don’t miss that.

Our stay at Gyedong Hanok 125 was truly exceptional. The spacious dining table easily fit our whole family, making meals and conversations a joy. The hanok is newly built yet fully equipped with modern amenities, so we enjoyed both the beauty of tradition and the comfort of convenience. The location is unbeatable—right on lively Gyedong-gil, with bakeries, cafés, gift shops, and restaurants just steps away. Major cultural spots like the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, the Museum of Korean Craft, and Insadong are all within walking distance. What made it unforgettable was relaxing in the courtyard patio, looking up at the pine tree while soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. A rare oasis in the middle of Seoul. This Hanok House is situated in the heart of Bukchon, where you find a variety of restaurants, cafes, shops, galleries,… This area is full of life and people from all over the world. This house has two separate bedrooms, each with its own bathroom which is great when you travel as a family. During the day it’s quite vivid outside due to all the tourists who want to make pictures in front of the house. They envy us whenever we get out or inside the house. But after 8pm it gets very quiet so you can enjoy the silence outside at your own patio with a glass of wine. The host was very friendly and was happy to assist us whenever we needed help.
