At the time of booking, there was only one review of this homestay. So we took a leap of faith - that's how we roll... Wow! Were we rewarded! This is by far the best homestay, and Deva is a superhost! He goes above and beyond to make sure we have everything we could possibly want and need, while his lovely wife Mangu conjures up meals fit for the gods! The room is spacious, clean and comfortable (mosquito-net included). A large bay-window overlooks the tea plantations. At night, the subtle ramblings of an enthusiastic river will guide you into a deep coma, as it did for us. The quaint town is within walking distance and packed with friendly Tamil shopkeepers. We absolutely loved our stay! Everyone should experience their hospitality and homestay for sure. It has been the highlight of our journey so far. Thanks to Deva and his wife Mangu. :-)

The location and the view from the hotel is really beautiful and the facilities are very clean and well maintained. the buffet breakfast is huge, with a lot of choice and even show cooking stations. The staff was extremely nice and helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay at Langdale due to the sheer beauty of the views and the exceptional quality of service extended by their very friendly staff. The food was also incredible.

Amazing Resort in the middle of the jungle! Perfect to stay if you want to visit Aberdeen and Laxapana Waterfalls. You get exactly what you expect from the photos. Extremely friendly service and the most amazing food. We stayed there for 2 nights and felt so welcome. They helped us with everything! Highly recommended!!!

The family running this hotel are incredibly sweet and helpful and would go out of their way to assist you with anything. It's the perfect spot for walking adams peak at sunrise because it's only a 10 minute walk to the start of the walk. The views are beautiful and we enjoyed the pool the morning after our walk. Delicious food as well. For the price of this place it's spot on.

This is the best value for money hotel I think I have ever stayed at. The host is super friendly and helpful. Couldn't recommend this place as a base for doing Adam's peak more.
