Incredible Stay at SO/ Maldives – Truly Unforgettable! We stayed for 7 nights in an overwater villa at SO/ Maldives. This was our first trip to the Maldives, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice — the hotel is incredibly stylish, brand new, and absolutely stunning in every detail. What truly stood out was the exceptional service. Everyone was extremely welcoming and attentive to our wishes. We celebrated a birthday during our stay (and it turned out to be the best celebration ever!) — the team went above and beyond to make the day feel magical, with heartfelt congratulations and thoughtful efforts that touched us deeply. We would especially like to thank Maria, who guided us from the moment we arrived until our departure, always helpful and supportive with everything we needed. Also a warm thank you to Luna for her kindness, care, and friendly assistance throughout our stay. We’re also grateful to the teams at the Watersport Zone and The Nest for helping us enjoy our time with fun and vibrant activities. The hotel offers a wide variety of experiences — we particularly enjoyed snorkeling, oceanfront yoga, and the creative workshops, all of which made our days even more special. If the Maldives itself was not enough, the hotel exceeds all expectations. The rooms are large, clean with a very comfortable bed. Twice a day they clean the room and change towels, both for the beach and for the shower. The island is surrounded by a coral reef, so you can see a lot of brightly colored fish. The resort has many bars, fitness, tennis, diving, etc., so you can laze in the shade under a palm tree or have a very active vacation.

The staff (okta, nata, sirima, the local staff who took care of us during breakfast and dinner, the lad who turned down our villa 41 every evening, the nepali girl and indonesian chef at madi hiyaa, etc (too many to list here!)) were all so friendly and attentive 😄 and of course the sea was so beautiful!
