Came here for our honeymoon and had the best time. This is a stunning hotel with an amazing view, especially for sunset. We stayed in the signature suite which had a private hot tub on the balcony. All the staff were friendly and accomodating, the facilities were top class and the experience from start to finish was luxurious. There are great restaurants- the hibachi was our favourite. The catamaran transfer is a great way to start. You’ll never want to leave!

The rooms were nicely decorated and clean. The host was very responsive and helpful. You can rent a golf car directly from the accomodation. The breakfast is exceptional. It is a little bit from the city centre (15-20 min walking) but we liked the location. Would recommand.

Could not recommend Almare more! From the moment we got there until we left we were amazed at the people and the facilities. The staff were amazing. Always made us feel welcomed and at home. The rooms and food/drinks offered were sensational and it was definitely worth the money. This was for our honeymoon and we cannot wait to come back! Ernesto in the steakhouse was exceptional for our fine dining experience. The food is exceptional overall in the resort along with offerings for children that are amazing. The drinks are perfectly made by mixologists and every premium alcohol brand is all inclusive. The personalised workout classes is a must! Hardworking and friendly staff. The private beach of Playa Norte was very nice, as was the pool. We had a large clean room with a balcony and a hot tub overlooking the pool area. Very close to the ferry, shops, bars and restaurants of the island. Massages were also good at the hotel and the sauna and shower area was clean in the spa. Our favourite restaurant was Satay and we also liked Sabor for Breakfast. I think the hardworking staff in the poolbar should have a fan behind the bar, as it was very hot!
