The Hotel was 1 year old so _everything_ was brand new, clean, comfortable. Perfect as base camp to stay a few days and visit Chichén Itzá. Also a couple of minutes walk to la Joyita Cantina, a canteen were you might find real mariachis and mostly locals.

From beginning ‘till the end, our stay was perfect here. The people are sooo nice and will do everything to make you comfortable during your stay. You can order your breakfast the day before and let me just say, it’s delicious!! It’s a small 10min. walk to the townhall centre and very safe. They also have a parking lot you can use to keep your car from getting scratched but the 2nd night, we just parked it in front of the hotel. Antonio was so nice to give us information about cenotes we could visit that weren’t that busy. It’s a new hotel but will be booked fulltime in a couple of months!!

The jacuzzi and terrace add an extra layer of charm, providing the perfect setting for relaxation and intimate moments. The staff at Oriundo are the epitome of hospitality. Proactively helpful, professional, and always wearing a friendly smile, they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfection. A special mention goes to the unique experience of having exclusive access to the cenote before opening hours – a rare treat that allowed us to fully appreciate the natural beauty surrounding the hotel. The inclusion of the zip line in our stay was a pleasant surprise and added an exhilarating dimension to our experience. Soaring through the air amidst the beautiful trees provided a breathtaking view of the overstory, making it a truly memorable adventure. With only seven villas only during our stay, it offers an intimate and exclusive atmosphere. The limited number of guests ensures a tranquil and serene environment, allowing us to fully enjoy the exexpansive pool area surrounded by trees. Spending hours in the pool became a therapeutic escape, and the seclusion added to the overall sense of peace.

very nice and clean hostel with a great location

The staff spoke perfect English and they were so keen to help. They gave recommendations, helped parking the car. The room was spacious, with a good airco. We received a bottle of water per person each day. The dining area is impossible to describe. It's like an open place in the building with a fountain in the middle. They perform showcooking at the table. Breakfast was very tasty, with a good choice.

This gorgeous historic home on the best street in Valladolid has only three rooms. We stayed in the ground floor room overlooking the lovely garden and pool. It is an intimate space beautifully and simply furnished with antiques and the original tiles are stunning. Best coffee I have had in Mexico (better than any I could find in Mexico City), great breakfast and very helpful and friendly front desk staff. All in all, made for a perfect and very special stay.
