Everything was excellent--the view, the food, the room (although no A/C in winter), the staff. We needed work space for our laptop and cell phone and the staff was very accommodating. We were lucky that the hotel was so empty we had the place to ourselves almost.

The peaceful cabin was just perfect for our family of four. The rural location was private yet with the convenience of only a 5 minute drive to the shops in the town and 15 minutes to the beautiful beaches of the Arrabida. The cabin was clean, nicely finished and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The owners went above and beyond. I really liked the fact that they stocked the fridge with bottled water, milk, cheese, fresh eggs, bread, jams, fruit, coffee, tea and even a bottle of local wine. After spending the day travelling, not having to go out looking for a local shop for food was so nice. We could just arrive and relax. That small little detail on arrival just makes the difference between a good experience and a great one. Would definitely recommend.

Although Caravan Park inspires a different idea in Australia as to what we were met with in Portugal, a little more research on our behalf could have prepared us better for our expectations to be met. This is primarily a residential caravan park more than camping/holiday. We were met by a lovely host Anabela who was more than happy to use Google Translate to walk us through the check-in process and receiving our security passes, as well as finding the bungalow nestled in between the many small streets of the park. The house itself was lovely, matched the pictures exactly and even included some basic kitchen items.

At the beginning we were a little bit worried as grade of the hotel was below 8 when we did booking but in comments we could not find anything specific what was wrong. Sincerely we can extremely highly recommend, and big advise to pay for ocean view as this is the best ocean/sea view we ever had so far. Rooms are very well organised: big number of towels, shampoo, gel, soap, tea, dryer, locker, welcome drinks, room service, etc. Additional recognition to the room service which was on a very high level and big thank you for the whole hotel team for being so friendly and polite all the time. Last comment is to must-go to the restaurant on the last floor of the building to enjoy great food and view.
