We have been traveling through Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia for almost two months, when we decided to end our trip in Koh Chang. First we went to the West Coast, where we had plenty of bars, restaurants and such, but for our last stay we wanted a quiet, beachfront bungalow, where we can enjoy our last days of holiday. We couldn't have chose better, since Sunrise is all this, and much more! Just 8 bungalows (4 on the beach), with a very romantic look and feel, a red sand beach with a deserted feeling, and one of the best swimming pools I have seen in the last years. The restaurant is tiny, with 14 options for lunch and dinner and 6 options for breakfast... But what options! We tried 12 out of the 14 dishes on the menu, all traditional thai, and we were simply mesmerized! All of them were amazing, with a perfect balance between deliciousness and size. If I would have to recommend something, even though it is very hard to choose, I would say the cashew tamarind dish, the stir fried garlic and pepper sauce and the sweet and sour one. But that is not all. First of all, this was the first place in two months that served proper coffee as we have it at home - in a french press. Second, and probably the reason for which our stay went from good to exceptional - the host, Penh. She is so kind, so helpful and so friendly, and she helped us with advice, renting a car, getting a massage and so on. Thank you so much Penh for having us! Had an incredible stay at the unique location that the Little Sunshine is. It is perfectly located in the north meaning you are located in a quieter area of the island but do have the option to go east and west really easily. The setting and the views from the room and the restaurant are paradise like. The staff is so kind, attentive and will do everything to make you feel at home. Also really nice to be able to use the standup paddle boards or the kayaks, as we used those for our daily workout. Moreover, the pool is also a welcome facility as it is a bit cooler than the ocean :). Would definitely come back to this resort

The resort was absolutely beautiful and isolated and a little paradise on the beach, while maintaining the jungle surrounding all of the rooms! The staff were so lovely, I felt like I was leaving family after 2 weeks there! Beautiful big rooms, great infinity pool, lovely breakfast buffet. The staff made a massive effort during the Loy Krathong festival and the whole experience was unreal!

I have never experienced this type of being welcome. Staff worked day and night to give you the best experience, brought me with golfcar to my room every time they saw me walking. Super friendly, great shuttle service. Beautiful location. Best breakfast in all of Thailand. The guest relations manager “Ai” was very hospitable and always ready to help us or chat with us. Thanks Aiyapura for giving us a memorable stay. PS. We even extended our stay for several days.

my favorite hotel on Koh Chang. I stay there every year. For me, the most ideal location in my opinion. Not far from lonely beach (5 minutes by bike, which can be rented at the hotel). Around the corner is a store that is open until 12 at night, a laundry and restaurants. The houses are located in a green garden, spaced apart from each other, which creates additional privacy. Very friendly staff). Ideal price-quality ratio. If you are a package tourist, then this hotel is unlikely to suit you.з
