Based in Uchisar, 300m away from the Uchisar castle, Mayda hotel is the place to stay while visiting Cappadocia. Far enough from Goreme and its crowded streets but close enough to benefit from all the areas' beauties. We arrived close to midnight but we were greeted by our host(owner) who also took the time to draw us a "To do list" for our 3 day stay. I recommend this hotel for its location, price, amenities, breakfast and last, but not least, the management who went well above and beyond the call of duty to make our short stay there memorable with local experiences (make your own pottery, wine tasting)and many more. Looking forward to returning here, Cappadocia and Mayda Hotel.

It was like a home away from home, the owner Murat was always there to attend to us personally apart from the exceptionally pleasant and well mannered staff. The hotel has a unique design and splendid furnishings that have been put together in a very elegant manner. The views are breathtaking and unique as the hotel is at the highest point near Uchisar castle.

The staff are so lovely and helpful the manager helped us booked some of our activities like the hot air balloon and turkish bath. Breakfast was really good and delicious and plenty. The room is big and had our own sauna and hot tub.

Fabulous hotel, located in a nice part of Uchisar. Very clean, comfortable and cosy rooms. Rich breakfast buffet, mostly from local producers. My doughter really enjoyed picking fruits from the quince tree in the garden. This hotel is run by a very friendly family who took care about every detail during our stay. They even arranged a fantastic balloon tour. Strongly recommended!

We had a beautiful time in Capadocia, and a big reason for that was our amazing stay in Ahiyan Hotel. The hotel is small and private, and its calm vibe matches with Uchisar's peaceful character. Our room was large and comfortable and it made me want to skip the adventure and sleep a few more hours. Also the breakfast was fantastic, everything fresh and made in the moment. Special thanks to Fatma in reception for helping us orientate around Capadocia 🙂 Looking forward to visit this place again in the future, I totally recommend it!

Everything was perfect from location to room service. Great staff, everyone was very kind and helpful in every way. We loved the room decoration and the jacuzzi was beyond expectations. Special mention to the delicious breakfast and the hotel garden apricots. The view of balloons from hotel terasse was very satisfying

Warm welcome and advice for activities and visits of the region. Very good buffet breakfast or excellent service at the table if not enough guests in the hotel. Good food at the restaurant (the pottery kebab was delicious). Outstanding room, very quiet. Easy to park next to the hotel (in May). Perfect location in Uchisar. Great view!

The location was perfect, with amazing views, and not overtly touristic like many other places in Cappadocia. The staff was extremely nice and helpful, and the breakfast was fantastic, especially when we could enjoy it outside. Thank you all at Drala Inn.

Perfect location, 2 steps away from the castle. What a dream to wake up at 6am and walk at the terrasse to see the balloons flying in the sky. We were well taken care of, if you have any question, the staff will gladly assist you. And the breakfast for 2 can feed a whole AFL team. Fantastic stay overall ! Uchisar is a small town, and they were easily located close to everything. Also, right next to Taxi stand. Bathrooms have huge bath tubs, Jacuzzi style. Hosts are very warm and eager to help. The breakfast was a lavish spread, and young boys Nuri and Harun were extremely helpful and pleasent. Paprkia Burger Place was a great lunch/dinner spot with 5* food!
