We stayed at Cat Ba Wistaria for a few nights and honestly loved the whole vibe. It’s got all the modern stuff you’d hope for — a sleek room, solid Wi-Fi, rooftop jacuzzi, and even a small gym that actually works — but still feels really connected to the local side of Cat Ba. As a couple from Saigon, we’re a bit picky about comfort, but this place totally delivered. Super clean, comfy bed, and friendly staff who gave us real local tips instead of touristy ones. They pointed us to this tiny family-run spot down an alley for the best Canh Ca Thu we’ve ever had — absolute gem. The location couldn’t be better: walkable to the beach, night food street, and all the little shops. There’s not much dining inside the hotel, but with everything nearby, it’s not a big deal. Feels modern but still has that Cat Ba charm.

Staying here was a wonderful experience! The people running the place were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The breakfast was fantastic, with vegetarian options to choose from, and very good coffee. The property itself is charming, featuring a beautiful garden with starfruit trees. The location is perfect if you're looking for some peace and quiet, as it's away from the center but right by a lovely lake. Our room was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. To top it all off, the adorable pets (cats and a dog) added a cozy and heartwarming touch to our stay. We would definitely come back!

I felt at home at Rustic Homestay. Linh, the host, is very welcoming and helps you with everything (booking a boat trip, explaining the ferry options,...). The beds are very comfortable, amongst the best I had on my 3 months travel. Everything was super clean. I would strongly recommend this homestay!

I honestly do not understand the current evaluation this amazing hotel has in Booking, it should be a 10. The service was incredible, Mai was so accommodating and supported us with everything. The SPA is excellent, we had amazing massages with the most incredible view ever. The rooms have a lot of space, we took the ocean view one and honestly, the views are AMAZING, I 100% recommend choosing this room. The pools are gorgeous and very clean, the karaoke is super fun, and the food of the restaurant is definitely good. Please consider you are staying at a Resort before saying that the prices are higher than in the town restaurants, this is obvious and does not reflect the value offered by the team. By the way, they have the BEST PHO I tried in Vietnam. I read some comments regarding the English level of the employees, it is true that is not incredibly high; however, being kind and patient can take you a loooong way, they are so kind and willing to help, and honestly, you can always use Google Translate.

We had a lovely stay here, it was so comfortable and homely, the breakfast each morning was amazing and the staff are so friendly and always wanting to help. We booked a day boat cruise through the hotel and it worked out to be a very good deal.

clean room without smell, nice staff. shower could do with better care. only the minibar was disturbing - noisy. you can hear the neighbors' chairs being pushed around, but nothing major. the room photos correspond to reality. breakfasts are bland, but for me it's not a big problem.

Paradise Cat Ba Hotel truly lives up to its name! The 4-star international standard is evident in every aspect, from the comfortable rooms to the amenities. The staff, including Quynh, Dai, My, and Duong, were incredibly friendly and attentive, making my stay memorable. The great location allowed for easy exploration, and the diverse and delicious breakfast buffet was a delightful start to each day. The Skybar provided stunning views, and the massage area was a perfect retreat for genuine relaxation. Highly recommend this paradise for an exceptional experience!
