The staff went above and beyond to ensure that we felt welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. As a special touch for our honeymoon, they even upgraded us to an ocean-facing room which made our stay even more memorable. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The view from the room was simply spectacular, and we could spend hours simply gazing out at the ocean and the surrounding landscape. The peace and tranquility of the surroundings made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The bar at The Fernery was beautifully designed, and the fireplace provided the perfect setting for a cozy evening. The ambiance of the bar was warm and inviting, and we loved spending time there. One of the things we loved most about The Fernery was the sense of seclusion and privacy. Despite being located in the national park, it felt like a world away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The natural beauty of the surroundings provided a peaceful and rejuvenating atmosphere that we will never forget. The property was breathtakingly beautiful. I woke up bright and early each morning to try and catch the sunrise. I took awesome hikes through the Forrest and enjoyed the best spa experience with Michelle. Jermina was very helpful at reception too and assisted with any itinerary I had or experience I wanted to book.

Such a unique setting. Was lucky enough to have clear weather to be able to see the stars with a dramatic lighting storm in the distance over the ocean. An unforgettable stay.

The uniqueness of the pyramid, the staff were incredibly helpful and it was fun to drive your own golf cart to drive around!

It is a very nice place to stay with loads of activities close by. My room was great and the Backpackers itself is really nice. The personal was great as well! Really nice and friendly people, nice talking at the first place in the evening. Great food. The Blackwater Tubing is a highlight as well.

Great private peaceful location with beautiful sea views

The sleeping area inside the cacoon is stable enough to have a good night's rest whilst still feeling that you are sleeping in a tree house. The hanging net between the leaves was our favorite area to relax and take it all in! Can't fault any of the facilties including the restuarant and bar

Location. Location. Location. We have never stayed in a more idyllic place. The dome is a fully kitted out ecolodge with some of the most amazing views of the sea during the day, sunset at dusk and then the stars at night. It is so private you cannot hear anything apart from the sound of the sea crashing and the wildlife in the trees. It has an AC unit so despite being a glass dome doesn't get too hot. It has a smart TV that comes out from the end of the bed, so you can snuggle up at night and watch a movie. It has a BBQ and picnic Braai hampers are provided on request so you can BBQ whilst watching the sun go down. We didn't use the hot tub because it was too warm but could imagine this would be lovely in the cooler months.
