We spent three nights at Sporthotel and had an amazing stay. Our room was very nice, clean, and well-equipped. The food was delicious, with a wide variety of options including pasta, excellent wine, fish, meat, sushi, and more. Everything was fresh and beautifully prepared. The adult wellness zone was fantastic, and the pool was truly unforgettable.

I have traveled the world, and I can easily say this was one of the nicest stays in my life! I was visiting Grossarl from Vienna for a long weekend to hike the alps and relax at the spa. Not only were the location and facilities absolutely beautiful, clean, and cozy, the staff was so attentive and professional. Everything felt like a dream- from being greeted with a welcome sekt to a lovely note with my name on it and complimentary chocolates in the room, to allowing a late check out and sending me off with a small gift of their own homemade smoked salt, everything was just perfect. I was treated so well by such friendly people. The dinners were an absolute highlight- each dish was brilliantly crafted and presented, and the taste almost made me cry. I have been telling my family and friends about Grossarlhof, and will continue to spread the word- my favorite hotel I've ever stayed in!

Beautiful hotel, in a beautiful area. Large, sun filled room, with a nice outlook. On-site restaurant was lovely and well priced. Staff were fantastic, very helpful and welcoming. Very comfortable bed. Close to the river for a nice walk or run

Honestly one of the best stays we’ve had in this region. The facilities were wonderful, an infinity rooftop pool with a beautiful view and good temperature, the wellness and spa area was amazing as well. Breakfast buffet has everything you could want, and finally, the staff are very helpful and friendly, with a special mention and thank you to Christoph from the reception desk for his kindness!! Can only recommend this place for a relaxing holiday!

Wonderful facilities, particularly the swimming pools and sauna area, separate adults-only sauna area. Delicious and extensive breakfast buffet, high quality 4-course evening meal for only €20 extra, fantastic value, particularly the gala dinner. Location very close to lifts and ski shops - we used the ski depot at the lift station which was very conveniently located (next to the excellent Rambazambar) Friendly and efficient staff in restaurant and at reception, immaculately clean rooms and public areas. Non-skiers in the group enjoyed the daily (free) activities, including yoga and hikes. Skiers enjoyed the local Grossarl-Dorfgastein ski area, and easy 15 minute bus links to Alpendorf and Bad Hofgastein
