The place is amazing with a beautiful well cared garden outside where it is possible to relax and enjoy nature on very comfy deck chairs. Our room was spacious and perfectly clean, equipped with every comfort. The breakfast was beyond our expactations, rich and delicious, basically a full meal with cheese, mixed cold cuts, salmon, croissants, bread, fresh fruits, yogurt, jam, orange juice, eggs, fresh fruit smoothie and more. The place is around 500m far from the train station from which it's very easy and quick to reach Gent and Brugge. Cherry on top of the pie is the warm welcome recieived from Sam and his cat. He made us feel at home and regret staying only one night. Definitely the best Host we met in Belgium, he keeps building and enriching his little gem place with passion and dedication, giving to his guests a great experience. Very much recommended, we will come back for sure for a longer stay.

Very nicely decorated and the owners were very helpful, immediately attending to some technical issues we had with the room. Breakfast has everything you need and we are dog lovers so didn’t mind the three four-legged friends at all.

We also found out we had our own private entrance in the back and access to a washer and dryer and an extra bathroom (WC) in addition to the one we had in our room. Marc led upstairs to the room which was an elegantly converted attic with a sink, a shower with a toilet, a large bed and two small ones. All in one room. There was an expresso machine that he replenished every day, tea bags, chocolates outside of the room and a water bottle, glasses, and MMs for the kids. Outside, they have hens in a closed-in area and a nice cat whom they call "the real boss of the place." Their garden in the back is absolutely beautiful and very nice to hang out on the patio and deck where you can picnic or eat and drink at a large table with plenty of chairs and a nice parasol. Loved every minute of it.

To me, it’s a preferred place to stay rather than in a city hotel. The bed was very comfy for my sore back. It’s calm and clean. The host is lovely and very friendly. Communication with the host was smooth and super friendly, and the apartment was just wonderful. The location is perfect — tucked away at the end of a quiet street in a peaceful neighborhood, which we really loved. We stayed with six adults and two small kids, and it was just right for us. Everything in the house is high quality — the beds are really comfortable, the bathrooms are spacious, and you can tell the whole place is very well thought out. We especially loved the big kitchen and the cozy spaces to relax and hang out together. The outdoor area with the hot tub was amazing too — we spent a lot of time there enjoying the peace and quiet. If you’re looking for a calm and comfortable stay close to nature, but still not far from lovely cities, this is the perfect spot. We’d definitely love to come back!
