Het Rila Hotel Borovets ligt in het hart van Borovets, het eerste bergresort in de Balkan, op 70 km van Sofia. The hotel is wonderful after the renovation. The breakfast is very rich. The staff is very friendly. The location is perfect.

This place is an absolute gem. Our host George has been exceptional so far. He assisted us with directions before we arrived and met us with a smile to show us around the room and small spa facility which looks lovely, complete with jacuzzi, sauna, bathroom facilities and optional music. George also helped us out with ski hire from the shop next door, they provided a good price compared to other tourist trap ski hire shops. I would recommend not booking ski hire, etc online and speaking to your host at the apartments instead. He advised that we get the rechargeable ski pass which works out cheaper if you're here for a bit longer. He also gave us reccomendations for food and drink nearby and told us where to avoid. The room itself is lovely, massive windows let in loads of natural light. Comfortable bed. There's also a nice shared balcony overlooking the ski slopes, which brings me on to my next point. The location could not be any better, right across the road from the ski slopes with the ski hire shop right next door and countless food and drink spots within a stone's throw. There seem to be some negative reviews linked to the Google page for White Horse Apartments which are actually for a white horse restaurant which isn't operating anymore. Don't let it deter you. George was also telling us about the plans to further improve the amenities for the accommodation. I won't share the details but it will definitely be worth checking out. We've barely started our holiday here but already we know that we'll be back at some point. Edit after check out: tried to leave a tip for George's mum who cleans the rooms because we can be a bit messy and when we went to collect our bags I found the tip lying on top of the bags. Went to give it to George and they refused to accept it. If that doesn't say something then I don't know what does.

Hotel COTA1110 ligt in Beli Iskar, op 44 km van Park Vitosha, en biedt accommodatie met een fitnesscentrum, gratis privéparkeren, een restaurant en een bar. The hotel was exceptional. Cozy, comfy and clean. The attention to the detail, the beautiful interior are on a international level. The treatment we have received during our stay was fantastic and the Food was great. We are definitely coming back!

Chamkoria Chalets ligt in het Rila-gebergte, 5 km ten noorden van het historische Borovets, en bestaat uit een complex van chalets en appartementen met eigen kookgelegenheid. Wat een heerlijke rustige locatie met prachtig uitzicht op de bergen. Ruim opgezet appartement. Beheerders zijn altijd aanwezig en ze denken in alle vragen mee. We konden de bbq ,fietsen en de jacuzzi gebruiken. En het water is drinkbaar uit de kraan!

Hotel Victoria ligt in het oude centrum van het resort, en biedt veel comfort en een gezellige sfeer voor uw winter- of zomervakantie in de rustige omgeving van de bossen bij de berg. Very tasty food and good service, not far from the center

Hrebet House heeft gratis fietsen, een tuin, een terras, en biedt accommodatie in Borovets met gratis WiFi en uitzicht op de bergen. This is a Super cozy comfortable place to stay. The owner is very responsive to requests. We were two couples and the place was absolutely amazing. There is a sauna,jacuzzi and pool 2 floors below. We came for two nights and we will certainly come back again for a longer stay.
