This stay was one of the highlights of our trip. Thanks for the great recommendations on places to visit – we really enjoyed them as well. She is a truly respectable and inspiring senior who deserves to be treated with the same sincerity and kindness she shows to her guests. We'd love to come back and stay at her warm and welcoming home again.

There is a private bathroom with walk-in shower in some units, along with slippers, a hair dryer and free toiletries. At the farm stay, the units come with bed linen and towels. Anne and Andy could not have made my stay more perfect. I had been on business all week in a larger hotel and with meetings every day, the quiet setting in such a lovely location was what I needed. Though it was November I was able to walk around the grounds and town in the day and I was able to see the cows when they came in to feed at night. Heidi, their dog, was happy to greet me which in addition to the friendliness and helpfulness of Anne made me feel at home. There are 2 rooms for guests and then large common area, modern bath and quaint kitchen which I was worried about at first, but everything is so organized. You have your own spaces in the bathroom and kitchen so always know where you can put your things. The breakfast is so generous (with freshly baked bread daily) that I had leftover that I used it for my evening meal. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone that is looking for a quiet place in the country yet just a few short kilometers from Bern.

We stayed in the Japanese room and it was absolutely perfect. Nice view, sauna on the terrace and jacuzzi in the bathroom. The service is excellent and we felt pampered for the entirety of our stay. They delivered breakfast to our room every morning, snacks and sodas/beer were always available in the room (with the possibility of refills), a bottle of white wine and red wine free of charge in the room and we were welcomed with a bottle of prosecco and a delicious cheese/meat platter. Highly recommended for couples who want to spend a relaxing and romantic weekend in the mountains.

From the moment we arrived, he was exceptionally warm, kind, and friendly—so much so that it felt like he already knew us. His hospitality made us feel instantly at home. What stood out most was his patience and attentiveness. I had many questions throughout our stay, and he always responded with a smile and clear, thoughtful explanations. His professionalism and kindness made a real difference. I also want to mention how welcoming the owner was. I had previously stayed here last year without my mother, and the staff were already very friendly and accommodating. However, during this recent visit—with my mother, who wears a hijab—I was genuinely touched to find that they were even more welcoming and respectful. I had some initial concerns that we might feel out of place, but instead, we were treated with the utmost kindness and warmth. It was a beautiful and reassuring experience that made us feel truly seen and respected. I’m very grateful and would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone seeking a welcoming and thoughtful environment.
