After coming from a hostel where the staff didn’t want to help us at all, the staff here organised a taxi to come and collect us, let us check in early and even had a bottle of wine waiting in our room for us. We enjoyed the pool and the many animals wandering around. We left early in the morning to go to the salt flats and they organised a little packed breakfast to take with us and gave us hot water for tea in the morning. Bed was super comfy and the room was spotless. 1000% recommend.

Located in the centre of San Pedro de Atacama, Hotel Kimal features a gourmet restaurant, a pool, a hot-tub, a massage and relaxation centre. I had an exceptional stay at Hotel Kimal in San Pedro de Atacama. I stayed in one of the bungalows “Kimal Pueblo” and absolutely loved it, peaceful, charming, and very comfortable. It was the perfect place to relax after long days exploring the desert. The service throughout the hotel was excellent. Every member of the staff was warm, attentive, and professional. One detail I especially appreciated was that at the end of the day, the cleaning lady would quietly pass by the room, prepare the bed for my return, and turn on the bedside lamps, such a thoughtful touch that made coming back feel so cozy and welcoming. The room itself was spotlessly clean, and the spa and hotel facilities were fantastic. The restaurant was also excellent, with delicious food and amazing service every time. I highly recommend Hotel Kimal for anyone visiting the Atacama Desert. I would definitely stay here again!
