Their hospitality went far beyond expectations: when we asked if they had a basketball for the nearby court, they didn’t, so they went out and bought one within minutes. Later, when we lost an item in a Didi, they immediately contacted the driver and arranged its return, sparing us significant trouble and expecting nothing in return.

The manager Anthony was very friendly and helpful, he speaks very good English and helps to organize your stay and visits of the national park, the “gate to heaven” and the canyon. He also offers pick-up and transfer, e.g. from to train station etc. Rooms are nice. Another highlight is, of course, the cute and child-friendly dog Popeye. We enjoyed the spectacular view from the room. The hostess was also very friendly and helpful. She offered to help us with our luggage up the steps and offered great assistance with how to get around to the tourist spots. She gave us a ride down to the South Gate and also helped us with sorting the tickets, etc. Breakfast was also very lovely at the beautiful location.

The homestay has a pool with a view with a pool bar, as well as a hot tub and free shuttle service. owner was very nice and welcoming ! gave us suggestions and guidance on where to go about :) even prepared special meals to suit our appetite. 100% recommend ! ❤️ owners were also very friendly and fetched us to a few places. Room wise was very clean and spacious. toilet comes with bidet and warmer. there was also a jacuzzi in my room. there is a pool downstairs to swimm as well. and there is a projector to watch movies ans listen to music :)

The accommodation offers a hot tub. EVERYTHING!!! The owners Lucas and Lily went beyond expectations and were extremely kind. Our plane was delayed and they still picked us up with no complaints. We were given a choice of room upgrades - all rooms were very well maintained, clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. It is a boutique style family run cute property and very close to the airport and Tienmen mountain. Lily helped us get ALL TICKETS and gave us an excellent plan to spend not just our time at Tienmen but also the remaining days in Zhangjiajie national park. Without her we would waste so much time figuring out how and what to do.

Frankie was exceptional. He ensured we knew how to navigate the park and even assisted us once we left the stay. The view at the pool and noodles were outstanding. My friend and I drank tea that was freshly prepared by the beautiful tea lady. I had a lovely trip the only sad part was that I didn’t stay longer.

My stay at Guan Yun Shan Ju was an absolutely unforgettable experience. Tucked away in the serene mountains, this lodge truly lives up to its name "Cloud-Gazing." Waking up to a sea of clouds right outside our window was nothing short of magical. The room was impeccably clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated with a tasteful blend of modern comfort and traditional charm. The wooden beams and soft lighting created a very cozy atmosphere. The hospitality of the staff was exceptional; they were incredibly warm and attentive, making us feel right at home. The food was another highlight! We enjoyed delicious, locally-sourced meals that were both fresh and flavorful. Sitting on the terrace, sipping tea, and watching the clouds roll by was the perfect way to unwind. It's an ideal retreat for anyone looking to disconnect from the city's hustle and bustle and reconnect with nature. I cannot recommend this place highly enough and will definitely be returning.
