WOW!!! First timers in CR so we didn't know what to expect. We were very happy with our choice. The breakfasts were terrific with cereal, yogurt, eggs (scrambled or fried), sausage, pancakes etc were great. The resort is extremely well maintained and clean. The pool and kids pool were very clean and probably 89°F during our stay (end of February). The Tiki Bar is staffed with great guys who are happy to help. They offer adult beverages and kids drinks along with some really great lunch and dinner options. The only complaint is around the policy around the drinks at the pool. I completely understand not having any glass around the pool but there is nothing better than relaxing in the pool with your drink on the edge of the pool especially when the Tiki Bar provides the drinks in glass. Might suggest a review? The accommodations were also very nice with plenty of hot water. The bed was comfortable and the room was made up daily with fresh towels for the bathroom and the pool. The location was also an easy walk to Playa Manzanillo. Are there resorts that you could pay double or triple the price? I am sure there are but why???? This resort satisfied all our needs and when looking at the hit to the bank account it was a fantastic choice. Don't be fooled by others, you will NOT be disappointed here

The owners are incredibly nice and share recommendations for the activities and restaurants, the breakfast is heavenly!!! The rooms are elegant, large and comfortable, the garden is a paradise. The best accommodation!

Wir haben ein paar Tage im Saranda Boutique Hotel verbracht und es war einfach großartig! Die Unterkunft ist super gemütlich und die Architektur ist echt beeindruckend. Man merkt, dass hier viel Liebe zum Detail steckt, von der stilvollen Einrichtung bis hin zu den kleinen Annehmlichkeiten. Das Personal war immer freundlich und hilfsbereit, was unseren Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht hat. Wir können dieses Hotel jedem empfehlen, der eine besondere und entspannte Unterkunft sucht. Vielen Dank an das ganze Team für den tollen Service!

Die Unterkunft The Babylon Suite Tortuguero besticht durch Bergblick und Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit einem Garten und einer Veranda / Patio, ungefähr 300 m von Strand Playa Tortuguero entfernt. Wir hatten die Suite über dem Kanal, die Suite war riesig, ne Loftwohnung. Hier ein grosses Dankeschön an Marbella, die hat sogar die tickets für den Nationalpark organisiert. Am besten hat uns gefallen, dass wir von unserem Hündli bewacht worden sind, dafür gabs dann Schinken❤️

Staff was amazing, truly wanted to make us comfortable. One of the big reasons we went with this hotel was the availability of the free bikes- which unfortunately kept breaking down. But they went out of their way to fix them for us. We also appreciate the do it-yourself laundry available, and the clean pool to cool off in, during the late afternoon when it’s really hot. The air conditioning worked really well and the location is great; as it is not in the middle of the downtown hustle and bustle. Very close to the national park - we biked there three times! Nice restaurant - Reggae’s - very close. Easy access to stretch of black sand beach that was not full of tourists. We spotted all kinds of tropical birds in the property and a sloth right across the street.

Everybody was very kind and they gave us lots of recommendations of things to do. I forgot my rings in the room and they kindly saved them for me until I returned to picked them up. They also reply very quickly to messages sent on booking and offer to text you on whatsapp.

Staff were very helpful with travel assistance and booking local trips. Daily room cleaning. It’s secure, you receive a key to access the property after regular hours. It’s walking distance to everything. Good breakfast with lots of fruit and eggs made to order.

Sehr schöne, ruhige Lage. Wir haben es als Zwischenstopp zwischen Karibik-Küste und La Fortuna genutzt. Wir waren leider nur eine Nacht, beim nächsten Mal würden wir auf jeden Fall länger bleiben (wir hatten das nächste Quartier schon gebucht). Super Gastgeberin und tolle Wanderungsmöglichkeiten zu Wasserfällen in der Umgebung. Wohnung ist super ausgestattet und komplett neu.
