Los Cielos del Caribe was my favorite and I was very sad when we left! the balcony on the top floor was the best and we were spending our nights there admiring the view! we are definitely going back and I recommend it if you visit Cahuita!

One of the big reasons we went with this hotel was the availability of the free bikes- which unfortunately kept breaking down. But they went out of their way to fix them for us. We also appreciate the do it-yourself laundry available, and the clean pool to cool off in, during the late afternoon when it’s really hot. The air conditioning worked really well and the location is great; as it is not in the middle of the downtown hustle and bustle. Very close to the national park - we biked there three times! Nice restaurant - Reggae’s - very close. Easy access to stretch of black sand beach that was not full of tourists. We spotted all kinds of tropical birds in the property and a sloth right across the street.

The accommodation offers a shuttle service, while a bicycle rental service is also available. It was a pleasure to stay at Brigitte's Ranch. The people working there love to show you the sloths and colourfull frogs at te terrain. You can walk to the Reggae bar in a minute to grab a beer and there are hammocks at the accomodation. We also did the Night Tour by Brigitte's, which we really reccommend! You will see plenty of frogs, snakes, beautifull insects and mammals.
